Due to the recent floods in Chennai, lot of water borne diseases were on the upswing, hence to prevent them vaccination programs such as Typhoid, Tetanus and Influenza has been conducted by Asha Wellness. Asha in its Corporate Health program has conducted series of vaccination programs for clients such as HP, CGI Logica, Schenkar India and Pramati Technologies. All employees were given preventive vaccines for such diseases and it was received with huge enthusiasm and employees participated along with their families.

Asha's School Health Program has successfully covered close to 1,00,000 children now and some of the important findings of this program are: More than 35% of children are having very high BMI indicating over nutrition and probably candidates for future lifestyle diseases. The study of data also brings out high numbers of parents having psychological issues with their wards and many of these behavioural issues could be tackled with simple minor adjustments in parental approach.
